Appliqué in the Hoop
The great quilt blocks and projects you can now do in the embroidery hoop are never-ending. There are appliqué projects for all types of baby things, flowers “Grandma” Shirts & holiday designs.  We will show you some wonderful ideas.

 Discussion Time
This is where you can name the subject! Ask questions about machines, techniques and more.  

Dressing Your Table
This demonstration will show placemat and napkins that are a breeze to make. We will show you some great new tools to make perfect seasonal tables. If you haven’t tried the awesome option in your “Customizer” program to make placemats, tablecloths and table runners you have to check it out! The girls also love the Hip Line Media instructional DVD. Great ideas you will love!

Easy Software
We will be demonstrating some of our favorites. Software for quilting, sewing and machine embroidery will be shown. Some of our favorites are Project DVD’s from Hip Line Media, Quilt Patterns from Me & My Sister Designs and Machine Embroidery Software such as Buzz Explorer, Customizer, Digitizer, Monogram Wizard, My Thread Box and Quilt Pro. We will also be showing you some of the great Machine Embroidery Designs from numerous companies. 

Embroidery in the Hoop
There are so many projects that can be completed in the hoop it is unbelievable. There are “Minkee” toys, purses, bookmarks, ornaments, key chains, sun visors and much more. Gifts are “SEW FUN & EASY”! You will be so surprised at the possibilities!

 Love Those Feet
This demonstration will show you what all of the feet that came with your sewing machine will do and how to use them. Tasks are much easier with these handy feet. Feet are available for most makes and models of machines if you don’t have what you see we will be glad to get them for you.  

Purses & Bags
Purses and bags are everyone’s favorite fashion statement! We love them. There are bags of every size. The Hip Line Media Purse DVD and other patterns will be shown in this session. You will be amazed what can be made with a couple of basic designs.

 Quick & Easy Projects and Gift Ideas
You will be shown projects for any level sewer to enjoy. Make projects that take an hour or less stitching time. There will be many samples to show you. Some projects would be suitable for kids. 

Rag Bowls
We will demonstrate making bowls from the book “It’s a Wrap”. A neat way to use up fabric you wondered why you bought or left over strips from your Quilts. Such a fun project, it is hard to make just one!

Thread Fun
If you haven’t tried the new threads for your sewing machine and serger check this out. Kids, men and everyone will get a kick out of the new variegated, glow in the dark and solar thread. The Ribbon Floss thread from RA is a fun way to sew from the “Back side” of your work. The results are so cool. All types of fun ideas. Ideas for sergers and cover-stitch machines will be shown as well.

Troubleshooting Sewing Machine Problems
This talk will be good for everyone who sews. We will show you how to take care of your sewing machine and how far to go when cleaning and oiling. There will be a demonstration of how a sewing machine works and how the stitches are made. Also, how to balance your tensions will be discussed. Save $$ by learning how to troubleshoot your problems. There will be a question and answer time as well.
