Sewing room ensemble classes have
been scheduled.
For each class there is a 6 person maximum and a 2 person minimum (less
than 2 will cancel the class).
Sign up one (1) week prior to class date to secure your spot in a class ( or
classes)
and to give you enough time to purchase the required book/pattern and to
purchase your fabric.
Instruction for class preparations will be available when you register.

Special Notes about classes
Since no two sewing rooms have the same color
scheme kits will not be available for the starred (*) items:
therefore, in order to have the fabric requirements, you must purchase the
pattern and/or book will ahead of
class time so you can take it with you when you visit your favorite fabric store
to select your fabric.
Prior to class, fabric must be cut as
specified in your pattern and/or book. Also, the embroidery work for the
Cottage Rose items must be done before you come to class. I
will be available by appointment only on
April 2 or 3 should you need instruction with cutting or embroidering.
Leave your name and phone number
with the person signing you up for the classes; I will contact you and
arrange a time we can meet at Times
Square Sewing Complex #1. If you sign up for 2 or more
classes, this service will be free.
The two j. doll projects have
pattern pieces that require you to cut and tape them together. If you
don't want
to cut up your original pattern, I suggest you purchase 1/2 yard of Pattern Ease
to trace and cut the pattern pieces.
Two of the Cottage Rose projects require that you make one copy of three different pages which will be used as templates.
The Sewing Room Clock has to be
stitched out on an MC11000. If you own an MC11000 you will need to
bring it, the SQ hoop and your embroidery thread. As part of the class you
will Digitize the clock face, so bring
your computer with the Digitizer program loaded and the design you
wish to put on the clock. You should be
comfortable with Digitizer. If you do not own digitizer the price of the
class is the same and the design will be part
of the price. IF you want to make a clock and you do not own
a MC11000, arrangements can be made for you to
use the floor model, just let us know. When you register for this class
indicate your clock color choice (black, white or navy).
